Big Project!

Recently I have taken on the task of creating a collection of cards that are all going to one artist. It is a swap with a woman named Rita from Singapore. She does mostly origami stuff and it is absolutely beautiful. They are so intricate! I can't even imagine doing something like that in so small of a working space. That has become a 6:6 trade. I am also doing a 1:1 trade with Marissa who did a batman card that I decided I just had to have! I am making one of my skellies for her. She liked the colors I guess. :) I am so exited. My collection is coming along so nicely with so many great artists swapping with me. I am only worried about storing the origami cards. I hope that they don't get smushed on the way through the mail. Anyway though, guess I better get to work!

This is a paper cut black cat on white paper. You can't really tell, but it has 2 layers to it. Go ahead. Look closer..... Anyway, it is a page that I did in one of my book swaps. It came to me after watching the children's show Franny's Feet. Strange thought right???

My Tim Burton Cards

I am so exited about how these came out. I have to admit that making something in Tim Burton's artistic style was a very difficult but rewarding project. I had so much fun doing these that I am thinking about doing more. Right now I am working on a new project. I am making a selection of 9 cards for a gallery showing in Canada along with how ever many other artists and at the show all of my cards will be traded for me and I will get 9 new cards back! Any way, I have a bunch more artwork that I am planning on posting later. So keep a look out! :)
